It’s not just the material and workmanship that’s excellent. The photography is fantastic! I found out yesterday how hard it is to get the picture to look just like the rocks do. I’ll try to post my pic’s (pale in comparison) in a few minutes.

Great tumble and GREAT material!! You have some very valuable pieces in there too. I would make sure to keep the ones with blue in them in a special place, they are extremely nice and hard to find. I have a tendency to give handfuls of my tumbles to visitors, but those would stay here.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the compliments!!!!
Fran - the polish I use for everything is aluminum oxide. Maybe there are better polishes out there, but Al oxide is inexpensive and seems to do a great job if you leave it a few weeks to do its magic.
Carloscinco - None of these were pre-shaped. The rough in the very first picture is exactly what went into the barrel. After a week or two in coarse grind I evaluate each stone and if there are pits, crevasses, etc., that's when I might use a Dremel tool to grind out the rough areas before putting them back in coarse grind. BTW, this rough came from Ron's Rocks, it wasn't overly expensive as he had it listed as tumbling rough, I think about $10 per pound.
Pldgrpuchy - Yes, the stones with interesting or complex patterns or blue colors will definitely be making their way into my special rock dishes!
Thanx again all!
