Hello all,
Sorry to bring up this ended contest while some others are hot(and when I say hot I mean HOT ;D) , but I like to post pics of the prizes I won. Today the PO clerk told me two packs are waiting for me. I went there of course and one of them was from Jamie. Here is the prize, great slabs together with a touching Christmas card.
Here are some close ups of the slabs. Great variety! The purple ones in the first close-up and the crazy lace in the second one are our favorites (my girls love purple these days
) but all of them are great!
The Montana slab and the Indian Paint are also beautiful, too bad that the Indian Paint is so soft, such a beautiful rock would make some great cabs but I don't think I am going to be able to put a shine on it. I think I'll keep it as it is, it is so beautiful this way too. Any hints for polishing it (and soft stones in general) would be highly appreciated.
