What do you expect from a biker? ;D ..... 3 hours in a vibe is plenty of time for the Borax burnish job. Trust me on this, if you're not doing a burnish stage, you're missing out on half of the shine!! These pics unfortunately don't show off the shine like I wanted them to, but tomorrow I'll try to get outside under the tree. They'll look like glass outside!...... More than 500 pendants!! .... Not sure what these are, the slab was a gift..... The black ones always look best in the pics.... Cobra Tiger jasper from Brasil. If anyone's going to Brasil soon, I'd like a ton of this. ;D Fancy jasper from Brasil Mixed chalcedony... Pink swirl agate from Brasil (no, I've never been to Brasil) lol..... Mixed jaspers......

Good golly Randy! When you crank out pendant stones, you really crank them out. That's a huge bunch of great looking stones. That cobra jasper from Brazil is very cool looking stuff..Mel

Those are wicked! But 500 pendants?... these came out of your 1-ton or 2-ton tumbler? ;D
Are you serious when you say you can cut 150 per hour? If so, that's one every 20 seconds.... you are a machine!
Those look great, and you show a bunch of materials from Brazil that I've never come across before. Cool stuff.

I think the second picture is of Green Tree Agate.
This is of course open to confirmation.

You rock, sir! :-)
The cobra tiger is unreal.
Let's see, 500 in a UV-10. I'm guessing 800 in a UV-18. We'll have to have a contest one day...

Hardrock, if my math is correct, that would be "900" in the UV-18. So what's keeping you? ;D
Rogue- My pics suck. lol.... Those are actually purple. I'll get some outside pics if I can squeez in the time today.

More beer means more, or less pendants/hour? ;D
I especially like the cobra tiger.

Right you are Randy! I made allowances for ceramic filler, but it looks like there's really no need. I wonder if I could get to 1000...
As to what's keeping me? The cold weather. My fingers don't work very well when it's this cold, even if the saw would. And it's going to get worse before it gets better.
I wonder if Trey has some room on the ranch for me and my family... :-)

Rogue- funny thing, I'm color blind too. Red/green, blue/purple, silver/gray, sometimes I can't even tell the difference between some shades of purple, pink, and gray. I know that you understand exactly what I'm talking about. Most everyone else is thinking what??? Some people usaually reply with "you mean that you see everything in black and white?" lol

Yup, exact same colours as you bud Colour vision deficiencies (CVD) can be congenital or acquired. Congenital CVD means that the CVD is present at birth and is inherited while acquired CVD occurs secondary to eye disease. Congenital CVD comprised of ~8 % of males and ~0.5% of females. CVD are classified into three groups. These are monochromasy, dichromasy and anomalous trichromasy. People with normal colour vision are called trichromats. Monochromats are typically totally colour blind and may have one cone pathway in addition to the rod pathway. Dichromats have a cone photopigment missing, therefore, they only have two cone channels. Anomalous trichromats have all three cone photopigments, however, one cone photopigment is anomalous having a shifted peak sensitivity.

I have no idea what you just said. lol.... I'm gonna pour myself a drink. Hey, did you ever do the color chart where you pick the numbers out of the colored polka dots in the circle? I got 6 correct out of 100. It also reads that a color blind person will see this number. Yep, they were right every time. What if we're not the ones that are wrong, maybe they are ;D

LOL, we can see color darlin, I've been painting cars for 22 years! ;D Sometimes, depending on the shade of the color, green might look like red. Grass definately looks green to me, as the sky definately looks blue. Colors that confuse us are "muave, fusia, lavender, burgundy, voilet..... I also have a problem seeing pink sometimes, but hot pink definately looks like hot pink. Since I'm homophobic, I got that color down. ;D

Good luck trying to explain it, Randy! I'm an anomalous trichromat: my red sensitivity is shifted toward green.
To put it in lay terms: I see greens better than most people (somebody once told me I should be a camouflage spotter), but have a hard time differentiating shades of red and green sometimes. Reds just aren't as intense to me as I understand they are to people with normal color vision. But then, having been this way since birth, I wouldn't know any different.
