Hello All,
Just an update for the store option, they have set up the advanced store for all of you that choose a store. I had told people not to touch any store subscription options as it would change the default setting. but then the stores where not activating. so they changed a few things and this is how it goes:
on the subscription page you must select the Advanced store(it's free) and that allows you to list up to 200 items for free. I think thats a pretty substantial amount for a free store(wow i said free to many times) but if you require more then that you can contact them and ask to have that amount raised on an individual basis. Once you have selected your advanced store check the Activate store box and your good to go. if you have any troubles activating or charges or need help they have a great costumer service, usually less then 24hrs.
Don't forget to use those voucher #'s each and every time even editing, adding pics, or even setting a buy out price.
Now to the GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they see the power of us rock nuts and want to open this invitation to all YOUR friends and fellow rock nuts. (Remember the More people selling the more the name gets out the more the traffic the more you sell something). so this benefits everybody all the way around. If you belong to any other sites or friends do pass this on to them, throw a post on your other site(although i can't imagine wanting to be any where else lol). get your fiends on . h have them register and you can send an email to the site for a voucher. you can email Lim at lim@ebiddz.com with there user info (just like we did) and they will get the same deal all of you are receiving.
so Please pass this opportunity on to anyone that may be in need. even your next door neighbor
I have been wanting to start listing things for about 6 months now and after looking at all the fees involved at other sites how can you sell something at a great price and still make it worth it.
Or even if you just want to clean out your garage and get paid doing it.
Sorry about the long wind but this is a great opportunity for all.
so please pass this on. post it on all the message boards that you belong to and all of us can sell and make money. it only took 5 years for the other site to be whee it's at and you will be in the door pocketing all the profits
Thank you to all and PASS IT ON Steve

Figures, I just listed my first item and didn't set-up a store because it said the Free Store is only for ten items.
Their method for creating a listing REALLY sucks. That whole mess of going from one page to the next page to the next page, etc etc etc, is a major PITA. You can't go back to a previous page without destroying everything else you did! It needs to be ONE PAGE! The way they have it now is FAR too time-consuming and aggravating.
Also, the whole "enter your voucher number every time you breathe" thing needs to be rectified. They need to update their software so that us "elite sellers" aren't charged the listing fees, ever, period, without having to ever do anything special to have that "privilege".
BTW, I noticed that the main category, Lapidary, now has more listings than any of the other main categories, by more than double. So, I hope he will continue to take our suggestions for making improvements to the site.
I hope I haven't come-off as gruff, but having just experienced creating that first listing, I'm still rather flustered.

Okay ... just did a second listing ... "similar listing".
Now, for some reason, my pics aren't showing up in my first listing, and when I went back in to edit, now it's saying that they want $1.00 per pic! I was like "Hey, it didn't say that when I was creating the damn listing!" ... so I went looking for the site's "fees page". There isn't one!
Sorry, but I'm pulling the two ads. Maybe I'll give it another try when he gets the bugs worked-out.

Well MJ I don't seem to have any trouble listing takes me about 3 min. and this is the first site i have ever listed on and to be quite honest with you are coming of as a real you know what!!!! You have wined and cried from the start. Have you emailed any of these concerns of yours to them or you gonna just bitch and complain and put the website down. Fine if you don't like they way they have it set up but it doesn't mean you have to be RUDE and discredit the site.Just because you don't approve of the software set the have ( but of course the "ELITE") seller that you are I'm sure you can do it MUCH better the fee page link is at the bottom of every page it says SITE FEES it's in blue. not that hard to find right next FAQ and HELP but you couldn't find those either right. You would think that a little foot work by YOU wouldn't be that big of a deal. for a free site as i said before I don't work for the site just trying to help out and my opinions are mine so take it for what it's worth. HAVE A NICE DAY

Well, I guess I'm just spoiled by user-friendly, professional auction software that doesn't destroy the rest of my work if I want to go back and change something.
HELP section ... nothing about fees. FAQ section ... nothing about fees. But, yes, you're right, there's a SITE FEES link placed at the bottom of the page (odd place, but okay, it's there). If I'd seen these fees before, trust me, you would have heard a lot more crying, whining, and discrediting. $1.00 A PICTURE??? So, they lure you in with this funky voucher, and take their fair cut when you sell, but they NAIL you for putting pics in your ads! LMAO using Auctiva and eBay comes-out MUCH cheaper than using ebiddz! If he gets a million listings on there, with just one pic per listing, he'll be a millionaire on JUST the pic fees! LOL quite a scam! And you call that a FREE SITE??? Where do you come up with this FREE SITE thinking? That's just flat-out misrepresentation! You're pushing this AWFULLY hard and getting DAMN rude for someone who alledgedly has no personal interest in the site.
BTW, I said "I hope I haven't come-off as gruff, but having just experienced creating that first listing, I'm still rather flustered.", and I also said "I had another look and pulled the plug. I sent an email to the guy, explaining why." ... YOU are pushing this auction site on RTH, and I'M giving my fellow RTH members my experiences with the auction site. Frankly, if you don't like that, TOUGH! My friends here come first. Get over it.

Well MJ if you would pay attention if you use the voucher # it removes those charges, those charges are what others that don't have these vouchers have to pay not you. the computer doesn't know you are a voucher holder till the # is input. If you where charge a dollar then you did not do it correctly. you didn't use the #(and if you read it's a dollar for up to 14 pics not a dollar each). and by the way these fees that the normal person has to pay are a tenth of what the others charge so again what are you complaining about. so
YOUR QUOTE
"If I'd seen these fees before, trust me, you would have heard a lot more crying, whining, and discrediting. $1.00 A PICTURE??? their is not a true statement above( except about your winning and crying) YOU ARE not charged for pics EVERYTHING i said is true and correct and this is not a scam. ask any one that is registered you will not be charged anything but the finial sale fee. again if you would read
It's obvious your are one of those people that are never satisfied and this is one of those cases so you know what if you cant figure it out or read the directions( it's not that hard) then im sorry for offering a free opportunity to you.
And yes they don't mind input and suggestions but there is a better way then telling people they suck or their stuff sucks, constructive criticism is one thing but your just being nasty. you asked for all those categories and in less then 24 hrs they where their. all you have to do is give suggestion to them. they are willing to work with you but you have to give them a chance. which you never did
Your information is entirely false and incorrect. in the future please educate yourself with the facts and the truths. no one with these vouchers( when used correctly) has ever been charged.(even when not used correctly) so get your info straight if you gonna bash them.
ps it takes more then 8 clicks to get to ebays fees and their's is on the bottom one click so whats your point?? you really need to open your eyes
If their is any one with any concerns about any of the things I have posted or claimed here about ebiddz then I ask that you contact them and get the truth about all that has been said.
I am not here to scam or tell lies I am a man of my word and every thing I have said is 100% the gods honest truth. you can take it for what it's worth. But don't take my word for it contact them and ask for yourself. and MJ i suggest you also contact them so you can be educated on the truth and how things work cause it's obvious you can't figure it out for yourself.
Have A nice day MJ and don't be so scared of something different if everything was the same life would be boring. you need yoga or something to relieve that!!! LMAO
please contact hem if you have any concerns
and MJ i like to help friends out. is that a crime. thats why their called friends. you should try it some time and I apologize if you misconstrued my excitement about the site and wanting to tell others as being pushy. I am very passionate about things that I enjoy and like to include others in my happiness.

I just wanted to post this at the request of Ebiddz. After speaking with them about this whole misunderstanding of MJ's and I quote: After investigating the situation,What he did wrong was when he went to edit (down load pics) after he post the listing he did not enter his voucher #s so the system was going to charge $1.00 for the pic. download. Then he though $1.00 per pic. It's $1.00 for 14 pics.but if you enter the voucher it's FREE. ( He thought he did but He did not enter voucher) if u can post what he did wrong MAYBE he can understand better. Ebiddz. "that was emailed to me just minutes ago. Maybe this will help you see a little light. And others the truth of the situation. So with that said, I am done with this nonsense. Take it or leave it. I know what is the truth and that is all that matters. I will no longer discuss this situation any further. I came here to learn to further my hobbies not to have a pissing match! second why would i want to screw the people who have been so nice to me and anyone else asking, passed on valuable info and expertise to me. ( i wouldn't be up to my neck in rocks LMAO). I would like to apologize to the rest of this site for having to look at this Ugliness! Thank you all!! even you MJ, you will get over it If you have any doubts please feel free to contact the site. Steve

Hey Buckwheat, Thanks for posting the ebiddz stuff, I did take advantage of it also, just to check it out. I set up my store, but I have not listed anything yet. I really think you calling Michael John a whiner and such is counter productive to what you are trying to do. A little help or a link to the contact us page would have sufficed, there was no need for the character assassination or the little tirade. Just my 2 bits worth, take it or leave it, don't much matter to me.

After I expressed difficulties with the site, YOU personally attacked ME. Read your own rude remarks! YOU made it a "pissing match". Scroll up and see for yourself! YOU'RE the instigator!
You've said, "EVERYTHING i said is true and correct" and "I am not here to scam or tell lies I am a man of my word and every thing I have said is 100% the gods honest truth." ... yet, several times, you've LIED, saying, "(it's free)", "a free store(wow i said free to many times)", and "free opportunity". Let me make this clear to you, and everyone who reads this ... EBIDDZ IS NOT A FREE SITE.

your right it is not a free site but the voucher that has been giving to you when entered makes it free. it removes all charges that anyone Without a voucher would have to pay. if you use the voucher it is free. i don't understand why you can't understand that. if there is any one here that is being charged for the site lets hear it but i believe all that are using it are getting it for FREE. there was an instance or two where someone did get charged Because the didn't put in the voucher # and once they contacted the site and told them of being charged they instantly removed the charges and credited their account resulting in it being free ( the user didn't put the # in and the still took care of it. ) If you had trouble all you had to do is contact them with the situation it would have been taken care of.
there are at least 20 users from this site alone with 52 items that are getting it for free. and you are the only one that just doesn't seem to get it. the voucher makes it free everything including pics. they have like 70 something users and no problems. except you. ask anyone of the RTHr's that are using it see what they say .
Catmandue, maybe I did get a bit heated and I apologize but when some one tells me that I'm pushing a scam and I'm lying, it pisses me off. sorry
like I said before I know the truth and I'm done with this
again If there is any one that has any doubts about ebiddz contact them for yourself don't take my word for it.
Thank you Steve

In your FIRST post about ebiddz (in the original thread), you said, "What he is going to is give anyone who signs up thru me a voucher for unlimited listings for free for life. all you will have to pay is the last fee of selling it's around 3%". However, since then, you've insisted that it's "a free site", which is NOT the case if there's a selling fee involved.
In your very LAST post, you said, "the voucher that has been giving to you when entered makes it free. it removes all charges that anyone Without a voucher would have to pay. if you use the voucher it is free".
So, did I miss something? I reread all of your posts in these two threads, and I don't see where you've specifically mentioned that the voucher now also covers the selling fee. Is it then safe for us to assume that, by your constant insistence that it's free, that the 3% final selling fee has also been waived, making it genuinely FREE?

i have from the start said that all the listing fees are free and you have to pay the finial sale fee and that is what i have posted all along. never did i say the the finial fee was included or waived if you couldn't figure that out then I'm sorry but i have never mislead anyone, each time i have said everything to list the item is free with the voucher. i am done with your BS if you go back and read it it says the listing fees with all the bells are free to list, i never said anything about the finial sale accept that you are responsible for it. so where are you coming from. you obviously have some serious problems and your just lashing out at me.
so again if there is anybody here that has any problems please post it let us know.
I believe you will see that it's you. MJ I will no longer respond to your attacks and slander on me or the site, you are very confused man and until you can see that, I have nothing to say to you.
I challenge everyone to prove me wrong and sign up get the voucher and see what your charged (it will only be the finial sale fee which I stated in the original post and have not changed it since).
so I'm done, contact them from here on out. I'm here for learning not proving myself i believe i have done that just fine. if you want to try and play with or put a spin on what i have said to suit you. then do what you need to do.
if there are any real concerns with anyone else please feel free to contact the site or and let me know! They have been very accommodating to everyone. they are more then happy to discuss any of this stuff about the vouchers. my story has not changed from the beginning
The truth defends it's self. so I'm done. have a nice day

hi Rogue trader,
i am not sure about the overseas i will check and get back with you ASAP. as far as the finial sale fees go. when you sell something the site will invoice you for this fee. it depends on the dollar amount of the sale on what percent you are charged it goes from 3.75 percent down to 2% it depends on the finial sale amount you can see the breakdown on there site under site fees. and this will be the only fee you are charged if you use the voucher from me.
talk at you real soon Steve

i signed up and listed my items for sale. being new to all this is messed up and forgot to put my voucher number a couple times. Within a day all fees were removed. Even the store is free with unlimited items. Personally i'm having fun listing. its giving me the practice i need without any cost. I'm loving it. I even got bids already, so theres nothing wrong with that.

Hey, this ain't no critisism, I ain't even finished registering yet, but ... ... Where did this momma/poppa group get their web site from? I guess I'm different to a lot of people. I do actually sit and read the small print Anyone else notice this little snippet from their terms and conditions: Laws. These Terms of Service shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales. Seems you guys have gotta do what our laws say ;D ;D ;D I can live with that.

Further more to the above message I posted.
For those interested in the legal jargon, once you have joined and you start selling items you are not obliged to pay anything, not even the selling fees.
I'm all up for this now, can't wait to join, even their legal blurb is telling you there is no contract between you and ebiddz.
Way to go ebiddz ;D ;D ;D
