... I cut 15 slabs of Moss Agate this evening Why? Well because I could. LOL Anyway, now what do I do with them? I don't have a cabbing machine. I only do tumbling. I only cut the slabs because I've been getting very bored of late and I wanted to do something harmless to try and keep my mind occupied. Sorry, no pics this evening because I'm now too effin' bored to take any. I'll post pics in the morning, when there is some sunlight to filter through the slabs

you can pre-shape those slabs before tumbling them. I used to to that all the time before I got into cabbing. If you don't want to do that-stick em' in the buy-sell-trade and let us buy them from you! KJ

Yep, after you slab them, draw out the shapes you want and trim them down. Throw them in the tumbler/vibe and they usually turn out great! Fran

Yeah, do what they said.... that moss agate should do well. There could be some undercutting of the moss on the edges, but they should hold up well. But you really want a cabber, don't you...

The wire wrap teacher where we used to live had a whole bag of hammer broken/tumbled slabs for her students. Cover the slabs with an old towel and smack into free forms. Just tumble and you have very random free forms.

Shannon .... serious answer ....... I'm not going to answer that question on here because of my fear of what might suddenly happen. LOL.

Check out BikerRandy's pendants he makes for inexpensive necklaces. After tumbling he glues on a bail and then runs a cord through it.....I think he's been pretty successful in selling them. I have a couple that he sent me and they are really nice.

Now that is really a nice moss! Plenty of agate for it to float in so it keeps together better and really shows off the color! That has to be great cutting one like that! Fran
