Guess what my favorite rock is? ;D First up, some nodules . (1st two posted prev.) 3 lb nodule – bigger half is 6” x 3” half nodule – 2 lbs – 5” x 3” >1/2 lb – bigger half is 3 ¼” x 2 ½” ¾ lb – 3 ½” x 3 ½” 2 ½” x 2” little one with lots of parallax – 1 ½” x 1” 2 3/4” x 1 ¾” And some slabs – first one’s a repeat. 6” x 4 ½” Next two not typical Laguna, but source is 'reliable'. 4 ½” x 3” 4” x 3” 6 ½” x 4” Pic can’t do this one justice - awesome parallax both sides. 5” x 3” Iris goes all the way around this one - tough to photograph all at once. 2 ½” x 2” Ruin agate – solid, all the fractures are healed. 5” x 3” Rich

They are all highly amazing, but the "flash", or opalescence on the 2nd and 3rd last clinches that one as my favorite in the lot.

Oh My Word! Each one is absolutely beautiful and I could look at the iris for hours and not get bored. You did a great job photographing it.

Holy Crap Man!!! Those are super. Mmmmm parallax...you gotta love it when you almost get motion sickness by moving the rock in front of your eyes lol.
Thanks for sharing.

That iris one should be in some sort of magazine. That's a perfect "definition" of what iris is. To semi quote Forrest..."Iris is as iris does."

All of them are superb, but that first purple one, with those thin bands and solid material, is my favorite.
How do you polish those large flat surfaces, do you have a flat lap? Vibe maybe?

Tengo gusto de la ágata de Laguna también. ¡Usted tiene algunos pedazos hermosos aquí! My favorite is the iris! Garry
