Hi everyone!
I finished today the special box that will host the tree during its journey.
Usually it's a pretty simple task to mail a box, but this time it was a bit different. Take a look!
Firstly, the two trees - together for the last time:
Finding an outer cardboard box to fit the tree and the special inner box was not an easy task. The "inspector" agreed about this one:
This is the special box (certainly ugly and hopefully sturdy), having the lateral lid removed (this one is the only removable side of the special box)
The tree fits pretty well:
During the transport, it could be in any position (even upside down) so it must be fixed:
Then, filling the box with a lot of soft pellets:
After that, I put the lateral lid and then put the special box into the outer box:
Ready to go, as I told you! ;D
Tomorrow morning I'll go to the PO to ship it. Folks, I can tell you I never had such emotions when sending a box!
Please keep this box in your prayers and good thoughts to get well to Amber. This would help a lot!
And, speaking of help, I could not end this contest without expressing my gratitude and my deepest thanks to ALL the people who took part in the competition, by making leaves, donating leaves and naming the trees. Each of you made possible this idea to become true.
So, a big THANK YOU goes to each of you:

Some of you made two leaves, some of you made more of them, some of you made some other people to make even more leaves but I'm sure that each of you put a piece of his heart in those trees, and this is what makes those trees really special!
Thank you so much, to all,
Thank you for looking and for joining and creating all the fun, the emotions and the joy all those months.
