That's exactly what I said aloud when I looked at the photos! Those are some amazing stones. Sorry to hear of the COPD, I had to look it up to find out what it is. Hope that you will be able to keep it under control. Again, I just can't get over the incredible beauty of those rocks. Thanks for sharing, Don

Hi Friends, I'm sorry for not visiting in awhile or getting the gift boxes out...I lost my brother June 14th very unexpectedly and just been rough for all of us... Here is some pictures of some kaleidoscope we have been getting. The Red Plume Jasper is only once in a Blue Moon but the KaliedoScript is a healthy vein...We also dug into an Agate that looks like Chinese Pietersite and will post pictures as soon as I cut some... We have slowed way down as the heat is unbearable, as camp is all man made shade and that just ain't the same lol...

Oh, Dale,
I am so sorry for your loss of your brother! That is so devastating! The good memories of him that you share with your family will always keep him with you. Now, about those rocks...I think that is one of the most beautiful jaspers I have ever seen! What a fantastic find! Keep well and post when you feel like it. I always enjoy seeing members return to us! Fran

Thanks so much for your kind words Adrian, Fran, Nate, Lori and Pork and the many others that messaged and emailed me...If not for Family, good friends and that kaleidoscope mine keeping me busy and all the kindness I do believe this Summer would have been a living hell... I must say this board has been one of my great escapes as I stop by several times a week and just read and read, look at pictures...I just don't feel much like talkin and I hope no one thinks I'm being stuck up or rude... Man theres been times I wanted to jump in and visit especially Adrian with your trip, wow we gotta talk sometime!!! And Amber, Dan, Tony, Mercy, oh and Mel too, so many excellent stories and pictures!!! I think the Summer of 2009 is one of the best for togetherness and Rocks I have ever seen on this board and I am truly blessed to be a member here... Things have slowed down some as its hunting season here and was getting to many curious hunters at the mine lol....So I am very anxious to get with the member/friends about getting some Kaleidoscope out and will be touching base real soon on that. Thanks again so much for all the kind words-Dale Rhode

Good to see you back Dale - I've been in and out myself and as nice as it is to "meet" the new faces - still always good to see familiar faces pop back in! So sorry to hear about your brother a couple months ago - I know missing a part of your family like that is hard and leaves a gap that can never be filled but I hope things are settling down a little bit for you. Take care of yourself!

Dale, I loved the story on your web site that described your jouney of faith and God's provision. This material He has guided you to is stunning.
