I finally took the plunge, bought some wire, and tried wrapping. It's tough on my old eyes (and old hands) but it looks like it will be addictive. Out comes the magnifying glass/lamp combo next time!!! I chose to wrap my first cab to keep the two "firsts" together. I posted this cab at least a year ago......I'm kinda slow. Anyway, here 'tis! Susan The Cab The Finished Product The back's still a little rough so it refused to flip over for a photo! ;D and..... Thank you BikerRandy for such a great tutorial!

No Way!!! lol That is fantastic! Looks like the kind of work done by someone that has been at it a while. Like MJ, I could not even begin to do one like that. I can just barely do a groove wrap as it is.
Godd work, look forward to seeing more. You are a natural!! Mike

A masterpiece enhanced by another masterpiece of a wrap job. That is excellent work for a first try. Keep at it. It does get easier the more you do. Ken

If this is your first wrap, then we'll have another master wrapper on the board very soon!

Yep. Definitely the first. Why do you all think I'm not showing the back? ;D ;D ;D Susan Thanks for all the nice compliments and comments. I really do need to figure out how to finish up the ends.

Simple....
doesnt detract from the stone....
and the wire wrap makes the stone and pendant look like they should be together.....
Very well wrapped....!

Beautiful job Susan! It's hard to believe that's your first one. Thanks for posting. If you want to make it a little easier on yourself, make your next cab a teardrop shape. They say that shape is the easiest to wrap.
