Just couldn't help myself! This one is a piece that Curt sent me...and it's got me soooooo excite dthat I can't stand it! I just had to post a preview picture. It's turning out to be one of the sharpest points I've been able to perfect. Dang...I"M EXCITED!!!!! I also have some others that are blowing me away. It's gonna be one of those cabbing sessions.....Woo-Hoo! I'll post finished pics when they get done. One more thing...I dome polished several Mexican Agates during the week. They'll be showing this weekend as well. Sorry for the Preview...I just had to do it...besides that..if I didn't take a break...my heart might have stopped as it's pumping so dang FASSSSSST! ;D ;D me

Holy geezers that pattern is just too cool, and you nailed the shape. It was great that you did this, Steve, we get to compare to the finished product!

Wow, Steve! You sure that's not a piece of (non-pet) wood that you whittled and polyurethaned to a mirror finish? That is one stunning piece of wood! Love the pattern in the wood along with the shape you cabbed it - very nicely compliment to each other. And this is just a "preview"?!?

I see why you get excited about that material Steve - neat stuff! I really like your free-form cab. Getting a point like that polished takes some skill (so it doesn't crack). I'll be looking for your other cabs this weekend. Garry

Great shape and point. Getting a nice flowing point like that in pet wood is impressive.

Gee Steve, if I had known you would be that crazy over this stuff, I would have sent you more. Aren't you the one that said "I'm not that crazy about pet wood"? I really really like the Caddo wood. Other people I've sent it to don't seem to be all that impressed. Glad to see you like it as much as I do. ;D Awesome cab! Curt

Finished them up tonight. Some of these will require a Bib!!! Thanks for all the comments so far. Curt...I LOVE this stuff! I can't imagine anyone not being impressed with it! First Up...Montana Agate. This one is so much better in person. It really needs a backing and should've been a doublet. Owyhee Didn't even notice the scratches lastnight. Must have been getting tired! I call this one Picasso Picture Jasper. I think it's Biggs...but it has characteristics of other stuff. I also like all the shifts in the material. One of my Favs! Dino Bone...what can be said...but WOW! Dino Bone...TRIPLE WOW!!! This has to be one of the best Dino Cabs I've done so far. Unusual cell structure with pinks and grays Finally..Curts Caddo Wood! One of my all time FAVS! Thanks Curt! Thanks for Looking!!! Steve

Geez, the center looks like the silhouette of a dude wearing a trenchcoat and boots... The Masked Avenger (or something). The Dino's knocked me over, but they all are wow! Jo
