I love stones with orbs in them, and because ocean jasper comes in so many different colours and patterns, it is probably my favorite. Getting harder and harder to find good rough though, or at least you need deeper and deeper pockets to pay for it. This is rough from a variety of sources that I collected over probably a couple of years. Some of the sources were better than others, but mixed all together like this I really like the range of colours and patterns. I took a lot of photos of this batch, so I'm going to post them in two sets of photos. These are the overall batch photos. I put in a quarter in the first pic for scale. I'll post a separate thread of close-ups of some of the nicer pieces.

i'd say that was an "out with a bang" batch. if this is your last tumble for a while, this was the finale to the fireworks! that is one fine tumble, some of those look good enough to eat, some of them look....alive. like little alien life forms, even.

perhaps the best batch of all time!
