I just realized this the saw from the ebay plans, I wondered how they looked in real life!
Are the plans easy to follow?

yeah they kinda leave parts out like the corner cut on the vice so it will clear the blade nut and other little things we modified it a little we didnt use the two flange bearings to hold the axle we used 2 3/4" nuts with fender washers welded on and hole drilled and the swing arm caled for a few different sizes of steel welded we cut it out as one from the skid plate off a bobcat now i need oil so i can get started on these

Awesome saw bendsum. Looks like a pretty "simple" design. I'm guessing the rope is for a weight to pull the rock into the saw? Could you maybe post more photos of the finished unit?
Nice work!

You sure it's strepp and not lead poisoning? You could have tieda 5lb rock to the rope...but then you'd always be temped to cut that rock Get better quick. Dr Joe .

A common weight is a plastic milk jug. Fill as needed. Some people mark jug water level for different hardness rock feed rates.

Do you have a link to where you bought that Arbor? I can not find it on the Covington website.
