Yes this really is a beautiful piece. I was the one to get it as a late birthday gift, but luckily I was able to view it here before actually getting it.
One of the 2 hoops you put on the back rubs against my neck and makes it unwearable, I guess I could either cut it off or twist it further toward the cab so as not to rub my neck anymore.

Hi Randy, I'm a newbie. Can you tell me what wire you used for this, is it Gold Filled? It's fantastic by the way. Thanks. Mary

Thanks Randy, the end of the loop had lifted while the rest was tight to the cab, I got the scratching end tucked in but now the rest of the loop is pushed a bit away from the cab...it hangs straight and doesn't bother my neck anymore so I'll leave it at that.
The "not so fancy" is perfect, any more than that and it would have lived its life in a box...I'll wear this one all the time.

Cool, glad you like it and it's great to hear that it made the trip safely. Mary- Gold filled is the only way to go! I use 22ga square dead-soft for the wire wrap, and 21 gauge half-round/ half-hard for the bindings.
