I'm not familiar with a Model 3. I think their 3A is a single 3 lb. A good place to start is with a double 3lb. tumbler. (I think Lortone is a Model 33). If you have a lot of rocks the Lortone QT66 is also good. It has two 6 lb. drums and you can run a single 12 lb. as well. Thumler's makes good tumblers also. You can easily find lots of posts about these and the infamous "Chicago Electric" tumbler. A nice addition would be a spare drum dedicated to polish only.

Hi Mike, & welcome. I am only mentioning this since you said that you are "...new to this." When sawing or grinding rocks (dremel), if you are not using water/oil then for your safety you must wear an approved dust mask; not those cheap over the nose/mouth ones, but one for the fine particulates that are produced.
Anyhow, welcome to RTH!
