Yep, her and Bill arrived down here last night with Angie in tow (the dog in my avatar). It's always a pleasure to spend time with them, we have fun! Today Bill, Jo and I spent a couple of hours on the ten inch saw. Jo spent alot of time digging throw what I call "the scrap pile". There's alot of grade A junk in there. ;D I believe that most of what Jo cut came from that pile. Tomorrow I'm gonna meet them for breakfast and then we're gonna go to the rockshop and some historic house (I can't remember the name). Anyhow, here's some pics from today.... Here's Jo inspecting my slab cuts.... This time Bill is cutting and Jo and I are probably digging through the scrap pile. lol Me cutting again Here's Jo spending some quality time with "Daisey", my Savu Python.... Ain't she pretty? ;D Daisey is actually a sweetheart. She absolutely loves to be handled and enjoys attention when there are other people around. I also took Jo for a ride on the custom bike..... I'll take more pics tomorrow!

Hey, there's an exciting combo of things that could happen in one day... rock cutting, snake handling and chopper riding! Sweet. Looks like you're having a blast!

Riding a bike, handling friendly snakes, cutting rocks, meeting friends... WOW! Great in the same time. And Jo's face in the 5th picture says all about how good are you feeling.

Here's day two, we cut more rocks! ;D We made a trip to the rock shop after visiting the "Edgar Casey" foundation. We all picked out quite a load of beautiful rocks. When we got back, I told Jo to wear out the saw blade. She did, wore the kurf clean off!! lol Jo and Bill examining the rocks that they picked out..... I can't remember what the rock was that Jo was holding in this pick, but it was too damn big for us to do anything with. To the right you can see a small part of the massive rock pile..... Here's the stash that Jo and Bill picked out.... Here's Jo wearing out the blade! lol Here's the end results of her labor..... Bill examining her hard work.... Angie taking a peek as well... Harlie and Angie Harlie and Jo... Check out Jo and Bill's rig! Bill! Tonight, Bill grilled a London Broil while Jo cooked Mashed potatoes with the veggies mixed in. Great dinner!! I wish that we could get together more often, nothing but fun the entire visit. Come back soon, we already miss you!!

What fun! I need a ride. Got snakes in the wild, so I can live with or without that. Is Daisey molting? Thanks so much for posting!

That's her natural look, she's really colorful when the sun shines on her but she also has a semi-dull look. She's an awesome pet though, she loves attention.

No mammals in this house! When we go on vacation, we just go. Fonzy (the lizard) stays with the neighbor and the snakes stay home. They can go "months" without eating.

Haha! We're on Hatteras Island now and just got our internet. It was too much fun and the visit went way too fast! When Cathy put that helmet on me I told her she had to be kidding and she said nope she wasn't. True to form Randy is always challenging me. I would have been content to watch him ride it. Wasn't prepared to get that personal with Mr. Randy but there I was holding onto him for dear life! LOL. Wind stinging my eyes, I looked down at the speedometer and saw that the first number was a 6 and the second number was a blur. Same with the snake, wasn't interested in holding Daisy, just wanted to watch her. But Randy wouldn't take no for a answer and I had to make friends with her. It was an awesome experience, as she IS very friendly, even playful. She wanted to climb up to my neck and that's where I most ticklish, so I was getting the cringes. All things rock-related were so much fun and Randy and I got a couple of hours just to do rock stuff together. Although we didn't get time to wrap together, we did get a few hours to cut and cab and just have fun with rocks. Mostly, it was cutting them open and seeing what was there and talking about what parts would make good cabs, and laughing at the imaginative stuff we saw in them (Randy gave me one with a ghost in it). That big rock in my lap is a giant hunk of rainbow pet wood. Cathy was a wonderful hostess too. She sent us home with a HUGE bag of pancake mix, a bag of marshmallows (a must for camping), and some of her home made chocolate chip cookies- Yum!!!!! I'll add some pics here as soon as I get a chance.
