These are my first attempts at photographing rocks. Can someone tell me what kind of rock I have. I got this at a rock show in a silent auction. Any help would be appreciated. I call it my steak rock.

At first guess, I would say a banded or ribbon rhyolite. It could be a jasper but it has so many pits I am just not sure. Fran
