I just took a longer look at your wrap. Is this your own style? I haven't seen one done like this before, it gives me a ton of new ideas and it looks like you've been doing this for a while. Some people just seem to have a knack for learning wire wrapping quickly. Keep on posting pics!!

Thanks guys for the kind words. Randy as for the style I would have to say it is a combination of ideas from this board and a few books I have picked up, but as far as the split wire on the front of the cab. That idea came to me in the middle of the night and I had draw it down before I went to back to sleep.

I'm not a wrapper, but I love looking and learning. Where do you start that design, top or bottom? It's awesome BTW!

The split front is very cool-also looks like it keeps the cab really secure. Nice job! kj

Awesome work for only doing this a few months. Well, it is very good period. This design has been done...sorry! (blushing here) I've been in wire jewelry for a LONG time, so I've seen about all there is to see. I can't count the times over the years I have designed something only to have someone else put it on the web before I could. sigh... It's amazing how peoples minds flow on the same planes sometimes...and these planes are revisited time and again through out the years. oops...acting like some kinda GURU here. I still am impressed with lovely wire work tho, and there is a lot of it here. Mostly great people and rocks (cabs)! ;D Way to go with that lovely pendant!

as far as the split wire on the front of the cab. That idea came to me in the middle of the night and I had draw it down before I went to back to sleep. That's what got my attention, awesome idea! As soon as I'm able to wrap again, I wanna try that! I get the stitches out of my thumb on Tuesday ;D

I like your wrap, whether it be new, old or whatever. It is new to me (and it seems others too) so I'm sure it will inspire others to try it, or at least some form of this new style. I'll bet Randy will give it quite a new "twist". Garry

Well, I think it's just awesome! You really did a fabulous job of making the wire conform exactly to the contours of the cab. I'm envious of that - my efforts fall a bit short, I'm afraid.
Great job!
