If you have a flat lap, try using 3k, 10k, and 50k on the corundum. Then hit it with a little oxide polish and it will look great. The 50k diamond leaves a good shine but it kinda seems a little "greasy" until you use a bielby (sp.?) type polish.

Nice set Tony, For Jade, I've been getting a really good polish using diamond paste on canvas. A member in my club told me to use tin oxide, but I don't have any. The unknown picture jasper looks like Disaster Peak (Mcdermitt, OR). The pink stone looks like Rhodonite from British Columbia. I have some that looks exactly like it.
