Short version: The wire wrap master strikes again!
Lomg version: Riding a bike, huh? Well, if wire wrapping is like riding a bike, your wire wraps are like riding on one wheel, triple jumps and so on. I don't know which of the terms "high end", "top notch" or "exquisite" fits best to describe your work, but definetely it's at least one of them.

Thanks Tony & Adrian! I confess Tony...they are premade and expensive. However, I really like using them as they are the most secure way to set faceted stones. The problem is, that I can only get them in certain shapes...I've tried like heck to get a company to make other shapes, but they say it is too costly. dang.....
Adrian...you are toooo kind.

Thanks! The malachite...I just took two 18g wires and wove between them with 26g wire (one wire)...then took my bail pliers and formed it to hug the stone...brought it all together and winged it. ;D The chrysocolla is a regular prong set...the extra wires I used to form the curls and then went back and took 24g wire...wrapping and wrapping and wrapping (coiled)...added the facted stones in strategic points...then secured to wires at the back. Nothing really hard. Of course the charoite is just a regular cab setting I did years ago. I just got rid of the bail and added a jumpring in which I added chain to. That's about it.

I finally got time to look at these Nancy-I caught the thread a few days ago, and never had time to look! Well worth the wait-always a treat to see what you've come up with. I love the first one-I'm a sucker for purple, but the cab is beautiful and you've accented it perfectly with the onyx. Jamie's chrysocolla is gorgeous. Do you use snap sets for the faceted stones? Thanks for sharing! kj

Opps-I should read everyone's posts before I ask questions that have already been answered! Garnets would have looked beautiful with the chrysocolla-but it's gorgeous the way it is! kj

I have always adored your wrapping style; you have always stood out because it is unique. I can recommend Sheri's tutorial too, I think Turquoise Magpie has it on her main website as well, not her e-bay site. I missed something tho - why have you been gone for a year?

Thanks again all! Yep, it is cool to finish a project. I do specially love faceted stones with cabochons...I dunno, I just do. Of course, there are always those cabs that scream to be on their own... ;D Hey Shelby! GREAT to see you here again. (Nancy waving hello) Oh about taking the year off...my side-kick Hudson (dog) died in Jan. Actually we had to put him to sleep because he had cancer. So, I just didn't feel much like making anything. I still cry over him...I can't believe a year has almost gone by. sigh.... KJ...it's OK, lots of people don't read all the posts. Sometimes I answer again, or hope they see the question has already been asked. No biggie hun... I'm glad you like the new stuff I made. That isn't a very good Charoite in my book...but really good material is hard to find. I could kick myself for selling a pendant I had. It was so beautiful...and I had no idea at the time how rare and valuable the stone was till I went looking for another one. DANG!!!! Now I keep em till I find a stone that I like better or at least as well as the one I have. ;D
