Some (not many! ;D) may have noticed my absence for some days now. There are 2 factors contributing to this anomaly.
The first one is my Mom, who broke her hip in early November, had a hemiarthroplasty (say that 4 times fast!) and has been in a rehab nursing home since. They have deemed that she is no longer making progress, so they are going to discharge her. We (my sister and I) have been spending lots of time trying to find "the right" nursing home for Mom, as well as trying to figure out how the finances will work.
The second factor is the realization I came to that 85% of the sales I've made from the arts & crafts booth have been of my stained glass panels, and have sold no (none, zip, zilch) pendants. So I have put the rock stuff on hold for a while and am trying to build up a small inventory of - of all things - stained glass panels.
At some point, hopefully soon, I'll get back to what I like better - making cabs and wrapping them!
I still haunt this forum, though, but I haven't done much posting of late. Also, I have cable tv, broadband, and phones all through Time Warner. Some time Friday night, the broadband and phone died, and the cable tv went into degraded mode. The poor overworked TWC techies couldn't make it out to debug and fix it until this morning, so all weekend I felt trapped - no phone, no broadband - forced me to do more productive things. I'm just glad I didn't need to call 911!
Anyways, y'all keep on keepin on - I love it here!
