Alright...the contest if officially Closed! And...we have only one Winner...
Congratz Agategrrrl! You have won the contest. This is indeed an Agatized Barite Nodule found here in Utah...near the Yellowcat Wood collecting area near Moab.

hey guys, Thanks for the congrats! I'm totally stoked to be getting such a beautiful cab from Steve & will definitely make something nice from it. I'm lucky that I live near Utah & have some knowledge of Utah material, & collecting agate is my number one passion in life. On a side note, I just finished writing a book last year on rock & mineral collecting that will be available in April in major bookstores worldwide, & on my website www.agategrrrl.com. Besides showing various agates from my collection on my website, I am now in the process of turning my website into a store to sell my book, rough rock, slabs, cabs, jewelry, & many other rock related products. It should be a lot of fun & interesting to rock collectors once it's all finished! agategrrrl |
