Yep ;D I started on these last night and did some this morning until I didn't feel like standing anymore. (old) Well, not as old as some of ya. ;D lol I made the pics larger to show the detail, all of the cabs are an inch (top to bottom)....... Green jasper (from box that Jamie sent) ..... Leopardskin jasper from the local rock shop...... Unknown moss agate (another from Jamie)..... Unknown moss (from box that Sheri sent).... Ocean jasper (gift from Amber)..... Porcelain jasper (from Jamie).... Rainbow ledge Another Rainbow ledge, I love this stuff!! ... Sodalite (gift slab from Jeremy (Christmas 2008)..... The next four are unknown to me, amazing material from the local rock shop pile..... The next two are some kind of picture jasper out of Utah. This stuff is actually agatized and takes an awesome shine!! ..... Last, this is "wonder jasper" from the same seller that I received the Utah stuff from. Really cool stuff!!! How did I do? ;D

Love the third of the four rockshop unknowns. Amber's OJ spanks. So does the Porcelain and the Rainboe Ledge. LOL, those are my favs, anyway.
Just wondering if there is a story behind the missing top corner on your newer cabs, been noticing it lately.

Outstanding! I love your material! Dude... are you taking the top corner off on purpose? I gotta believe so since they all are like that! Is that a manufacturing Randy on purpose kind of move? ;D

Thanks yall! The reason for taking the point off the top is that they look so much better that way when wrapped. With the point, they end up looking too long I think. The sodalite actually had the point, and I grinded it off. ;D

I was wondering if it had anything to do with wrapping. Thanks for clue-ing us in, LOL.

Wow Randy, those are Suhweeeet! Now I'm glad I bought a slab of that leopard skin, it's so unique looking. Are you up for being commissioned to create some cabs??? lol... I've got tons (okay, exaggerated) of slabs and still haven't bought my cabbing equipment. Hit a speed bump in the money road.

Awesome set. Good idea taking off the point for wrapping. That picture jasper from Utah is really sweet.

Beautiful Shine my Friend...and what a great assortment of goodies! The unknown material is sweeet...but I have to pick the OJ as my top choice followed by the 3rd one down. Steve

Wow man, you are one of those pandimensional entities who reverberates art and goodness throughout time & space. Cool to see how Ocean varies and, of course, your shape variations may be subject to plagiarism by me if you don't mind

Plagiarize away bud, but ya gotta post'm!!! (that's part of the deal) ;D You can probably tell what my favorite shape is, but I'm slowly trying to work others in. This particular shape has become more of a habit than anything, everything I cut seems to come out that shape unless I make it a point to purposely do another shape. It's like my hands are possessed. lol

"How did I do?' you say? Hard to tell, the shine blinded me! ;D I think I spotted through the lashes my favorites though: the OJ and the porcelain.
