and I want all honest opinions! I have made a few of these and sent them to friends and family...but I think that these would sell well. Just something to hang on your car mirror. Most of these my neighbor did for me while I was out of town. She can match beads better than I ever could. I did the Biggs one for myself. Thanks for looking!!! Steve

Hmmmm.... my honest opinion? Those are a GREAT idea! I have a dreamcatcher hanging from mine in my Jeep. I'd love to have a gorgeous rock there too.
One problem tho... it may cause an increase in car break ins. ;D

I've had so many rocks hit the outside of my windshield in the last year I would wonder about cracking it from the inside JK looks like a great idea

Yea, they all look great. I had thought about doing something like that also. My only suggestion would be to keep them a bit on the short side. That way, there would not be any chance of the stone hitting the glass and either damaging the glass or the stone. I bet they will sell pretty good.

I like them, I've always had stone or glass things hanging in my yukon. Though like Mike suggested make some on the short side for those of us that drive through pot holes & off road, other wise they do hit the windshield. You may want to sell some suction cups too for people who want to hang them in their house windows too. Nancy

Yep, good idea. I would stay away from any clear quartz type though. Don't want to burn a hole in a dashboard or anything in the heat of summer from a magnify action. I would stay away from glued items also unless they can withstand up to 200 degrees in a car. Sometimes it can really get that hot. The suction cup idea is great too so they can be in any window at your home also. Fran

I love them!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a pendant that Randy sent me hanging from my truck mirror already, I used leather cord, but now I may take it back down and add some beads to it like yours!

I'm think hanging from the ceiling fans, maybe the curtain rod, from the larger house plants, the car mirror (of course), the bird feeders, the skylights . . .

I would get too distracted to drive because of looking at the stones...lol I agree with others about keeping them short. Also make sure the beading string or whatever you are using is strong enough to hold up to movement for some time especially if they are meant for hanging in a car. Interesting idea all around and some pretty stones as well.

Hi Steve, I tink that just about anything eye catching will sell and these are just that. I don't know if you remember but about 100 years ago I made a set of mini wind chimes to hang off the rear view mirror? They were a real pain t make but here were something different. Your idea is different as well so I think it's a good one. connrock

Thanks you guys! I will keep the tips in mind. I have the Biggs hanging in my car now...and I know for certain...the stretchy chord is not one I'll use again. I turn corners and that thing dang near flies around and hit's me. I'll be shortening the length of mine personally...and I'll keep the others short. I'd hate to have someone sue me cuz they got into a car accident impelled by my hangies...or distracted. My hangies meaning the stone thinga-m-jigs!! Steve
