Well... it might've taken us a whole stinkin year, but today, we finally accepted an offer on the house. Thank goodness I've had this board and all of you good people and my rocks to help me keep my sanity. Haha, someone asked me when another year was rolling around, if the date fell on a date someone guessed in the contest I ran last year... would I honor it. Well... that winner would be Julie- MyNewHobby (March 15th). But, I promised Julie that we would come out to visit her (she's not far from my oldest son)- so Julie, that will be your prize! (you may regret it) Settlement won't be til mid-June. Expect we'll be purty busy til then... and then we will join the ranks of all you Rockin' Full Time RVers!!!! Yippee!

Congrats Jo, I know it was a lot of waiting! You had to endure one more blizzard before you escape PA's lovely weather, LOL. Perfect timing to take to the road at the start of summer! Amber

Thanks everyone for celebrating with us! Yes, you Idahoans, we will be coming your way! I have been keeping a blog, and a Facebook page for G&N, doing both gets tedious with all the time it takes duplicating work, but I'll find a way to keep them up to date. Plus, we will be fully wireless and I plan to still be connected here on the board. Fossilman, don't ever underestimate the power of homemade chocolate chip cookies! Try it!

I just shot a very big gulp of some really good Chardonnay out of my nose!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!
I couldn't be happier for you and Bill and my sweet (give my pooch a smooch on the lips) Angelina if I tried.
Now I have to figure out how to clean the house, tumble 1,200 batches in the Lortone, 646 batches in the UV-10, and wrap approximately 2,014 cabs before you get here in ... what .... June? Oh Crap!
I may just hop on the bumper of your 5th wheel and beg for mercy .... I will do windows and I will cook!!!
Big Hugs, Lots of Love, and OMG!!! How very cool!!! I love you guys!!

Jo, I'm soo happy for you & yours. It's a huge adjustment, but it's worth it. A wonderful way to live. Can't wait 'til we meet up on the road. Hopefully, you'll be able to come to Quartzsite next winter. We'll be here for the season. Don't have a clue where we'll be this summer but, you never know, maybe we'll end up in the same place. Congrats on joining the homeless trailer trash family. You're going to love it.

Congratulations Jo! Now, I don't want to rain on your parade but there are so many steps before the house gets sold "officially" and into their hands, you have to keep calm until all hurdles are passed. We have sold ours in TX twice. The first people took a loss and backed out of buying one week after signing the contracts. They got cold feet about the economy and decided not to buy anything. The second family didn't pass for a loan and wanted us to keep dropping the price so they could keep trying (they should have gotten pre approved so they would know what their limits were). We didn't want to give it away so we refused. Now, it is back out there. Do all you can to get ready but remember, they can pull the rug out from under you so you have to be prepared, just in case. WTG Jo, glad you finally sold it. Mine has been on the market for over 2 years. Have had a lot of bites, but none qualify for a loan. People should get prequalified if they want to buy a house. I have reduced my price and also gave a $8k matching incentive that the Gov. gives. Also a $5K bonus to the agent that sells it above what the realator gets. Nothing works if they can't get a loan. Mine is now just below the tax value. It's costing me to keep it, mortgage, ins. and taxes. Ken
