Oh Mighty Condor. (Wait, wrong thread.) Those turned out great! How long did those beauties have to roll around in the rough?

Oh Mighty Condor. (Wait, wrong thread.) Those turned out great! How long did those beauties have to roll around in the rough? I had them in 60/90 for about four or five weeks. Can't exactly remember. From there I went to 120/220 for one week, then 400F for another week and finally one week in AO. Condor

Stonewizard, too funny (Oh Mighty Condor). Anyhow, that large stone, the last picture of it, reminded me of the Maoi Statues on Easter Island! I shouldn't be but I'm still amazed how the rough looks so different from the finished product. Really nice batch Condor.

Very nice batch. You turned rough stone into master pieces in only a short few months. We like the color. Debby & Tom

I remembered I've got a lb or two I bought a couple of years ago. I'm gonna throw 'em in the next batch I do.If they come out half as good as yours,I'll be happy.

What a phenomenal result!!!
I could swear that long piece is on the left hand side of the photo of your rough and if it is the actual piece, what a really neat thing to see the before and after of that one!!! Great work!

You're absolutely right. That long one in the rough is the same one that is shown polished. As Yoda would say...quite observant you are. Condor

Nice batch. Really nice colors. How many times did you change out the 60/90 grit. Karock I changed 60/90 about four or five times. You know folks, the thing about these condors is that they are all "B" grade. The "A" grade were way too expensive for my budget. Maybe next year I'll try to get at least few pounds of those kind. I can only imagine what they will turn out like. Condor
