When you're well rested, what is dryhead?
Thanks! And get well soon, that is some mighty fine polish work there!
Wish I had a rock shop around here that sold that kind of rough! Mind sharing where you buy your rough or slabs?
later, Phil

Ed, I am just so happy to see you back and showing us such beauties, well, this is just a treat! You know, as you recuperate, I know you will be too tired for awhile to even attempt to do any cabs but you could just take us on a tour of your beautiful cabs and that would be wonderful! Fran

Great to see some more of your work Ed. Thanks for showing them off. It's tough recouperating, so take care. Rest up - it's what your body needs.

Glad to see you back on the forum. We were all worried about you. Take care of yourself and hope you get to feeling like yourself again soon. Now as to these cabs      That dryhead started the drool running but then the parrot wing took my breath away, after that I was a goner I tried to pick a favorite but after three or four rounds of looking at them I just can't they are all fabulous. Thank you for sharing the pics. Now I have to find a towel to wipe the drool off the computer... ;D

Really beautiful work with amazing material. If I had some of that rough I might be afraid to touch it and mess up a beautiful rock. I'm also glad you are feeling better. I know nothing about your specific situation but generally speaking working stones might be excellent therapy post stroke. The brain/eye/hand coordination required for cabbing may be perfect rehab to retrain connections. Of course you would want to ask your doctor first :-).

All the best to you Ed. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Like a true artist, you will have two eras, pre and post stroke.
Get well soon! Geoff
