Well that Genie was calling me, I just got all the parts from John so it is at 100%. Here are a few that I made this weekend. MY pics are lousy and I did a lousy job cleaning the tin and cerium but you get the idea
This is so cool, Rodney slipped this to Tony when we were in AZ, and he made the mistake of bringing it to my house and asking if I wanted it, LOL. Note the little piece of gem silica on the side of the cab, I guess it was a special piece of chrysacolla from their claim.
This was the piece of cocaxinite in amethyst that Stones that Rock gave all of us in Burro Creek, I love this stuff but I think I cracked the one using cerium on it, so it is going back to the wheels.
This was a piece that Fran sent me a long time ago, I think it might be the green owyee from Catman, I see that it has little tiny pits that I didnt see before when I was cabbing, so I might seal this one and recab, the colors are so cool on this one.
My last piece of Laker from Marie
One of my facebook rock friends sent me this piece of Royal Sahara Jasper, I never cabbed it before, but wow I loved this!
This was a piece of the Cherry Creek that Tony got in Tuscon it is so matte but it really shined up well with tin oxide.
A plumey Ralph reject, cause no cabbing episode is complete without a little piece of Ralph, LOL
Berber Agate from Morocco, looks like lobster stone to me! Sort of disappointed I cut this, the slab was cool with clear crystal around it, should have left it intact, LOL.
Opalite, got pretty shiny with tin
Gary Green- this was heartache, this was the most beautiful piece from Catman, well a big hole poked through from the back, and I was so bummed, so half a superglue bottle later and a huge mess, LOL, I recabbed it, but you can still see the hole. I was bummed.
Well cab on!
