Howdy Folks, I've been away from RTH for a long time now but figured I would stop by and say hello. Lately, I've been learning how to bezel set cabs in Silver. So far I've only done a few but I really enjoy it. Right now it's too damn hot where I am to do any work in the garage but I'll be working on it to make it cooler... Here's a few of the stones I've set so far... This one is my first attempt. The stone is loose filament Red Moss from Woodward Ranch, W. Texas 2nd Bezel setting. Another Moss Agate from Woodward Ranch This one is my 3rd... Red Horn Coral that I got from WyckedWyre I made this one for a Mother's Day gift... Dino Bone that Textiger gave me... Another Red Moss from Woodward Ranch the hidden bail.... Tiffany Stone - Made this one for one of my "jewelry junkie" friends... she loves my purple stones... Last one... bored yet? Another Tiffany stone Thanks for lookin and I hope you enjoyed... Dan

Dan, you need a Blarneystone stamp for the backs of these babies. They're terrific! Jo

Very nice smithing Dan. I keep trying to get my wife back into it, she has some of my best work just waiting.........
I think I need to grab the torch and complete some of my stones.
I just hope I can do as good a job as you did here Dan.

Hi Dan, Ive been trying to master cab settings my self, but my work in far behind yours them settings, they are realy something,
The 3rd one is marvelous the point is so perfect ,how do you do it so nice ? I get puckers all around ! ! !
I am on setting a green jade in a wire cage at the moment have you tried Jade yet the combination with the silver is quite striking ?
Thanks for showing your work, I would never get bored at seeing your work, its a real encouragement for me to persever

Dan: Those tiffany stones are my favorite, they are all so super. Usually I like a back plate but you have those edges so smooth around them, I am still struggling with the bezel pushing, I thought that would be the easy part! Your silver work is just as good as your flawless cabs! Amber I like the hidden bails
