absolutely spectacular photos, ED, you got an eye for rock and one for the photographic images. you live in a very beautiful, if not expensive part of this great nation. i think every part of California i have been to was quite nice, but the coast, oh my, the coast.....is something you want to wake up to every morning.
thanks for sharing the great photos,
KD

Thanks for the pics Ed, that's something I would never be able to see. Gorgeous scenery, I love the first pic of the waterfall. That's pretty enough to be wall paper.

That last one there could make some good wallpaper too, that's a really pretty scene. Do you have them in full size still if someone was interested?

Ed
I'm really glad you posted those magnificent pics. Its been well over 30 years since we were in your neck of the woods and I had forgotten how beautiful God made the Cal coast. Thanks for the reminder.

Wow, Absolutely awesome pictures! Makes me wish that I had called in sick and went with you guys. One summer, I volunteered for the mountain route. One reason for volunteering was that I was sent down to Big Sur every Friday. It was a very long day- about 12 hours, but Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places in the world! I guess it would not have been such a long day if I didn't stop so often to check out the scenary.
Thanks for sharing, Cal

I wish we had more time on our way home to stop more often as the sun was setting over a cloudless horizon. And you're right Cal, it was exactly a 12 hour day for us too. But I loved every minute of it. Cher, and anyone else who would like one, I can put the images on CD and send them to you in full size format and you can use them as your desktop or print them out, I don't have a problem with that at all.
Thanks again, Ed

Those photos are amazing. I didn't realize Big Sur was so majestic. It looks like something right out of a postcard. I noticed some rocks under that waterfall. Guess it's not a good idea to take a shower threre less you get bonked on the head. All those pictures are breathtaking. It so nice to think that someplace so beautiful is right here in our backyard. As I sit here watching the snow fall, I would so love to be sitting on that little beach below that waterfall. It looks so pristine, can anyone get down to that beach or is it accessible only by boat?

Out here Kim, we call it hang gliding! But since I'm terrified of hieghts, you'd never catch me in one of those things. Yes, there is a trail that leads down to the beach and I wish we had more time cuz I think it would be cool to get some pics up close. I will definetly be going back to Jade Cove with Tony, and probably on more than just a one day trip, more like a weekend. He showed me where he camps when he goes there for a weekend and I can just imagine waking up to that view.

LOL Hey Kim, GMTA. Ed, make sure you take your camera again. I want to get up close and personal with that little waterfall.

Mmm, love the view of Pfieffer State Beach. How about we arrange an even trade for this scenic spot? Oops, shouldn't have left my old car in the middle of the road, but what the heck when there is no-one else around for dozens of miles?!
