The water doesn't stick around long enough to get mucked up. It just gets thrown out of the saw.

Yup. I put my tile saw in a tub of water, because the 10" blade really throws it around. It's like Moses parting the Red Sea when I hit the power button!

nd, the Hot Dog blade is what I use- really smooth cutting. Styay away from notched rim blades- not on es with expansion grooves but those with an edge like dental molding. as they'll beat up your rocks.
