Okay people, this is one of toughest things I had to do in a while. There were so many great names, but I had to narrow it down to just 12. For those who's names didn't make it this time, don't give up, there will be more of these contests from either me or someone else. So cast your vote between now and next Sunday night, March 26, 9:00pm, PST. In case of a tie, I'll cut another cab from the same material to go to the one who ties. Good luck.

Umm... actually, shouldn't that one name be spelled, "Lewis and Clark's Adventure"?

Well, it looks like the race is one. Let's see what happens when it's down to the final lap!

Okay, so I flunked History and English, but we all know who old Louie and Clark was. I can't change the spelling so we're stuck with Louis instead of Lewis. Hey, what's in a name anyway.

Hi Stoner,
I just placed my vote (Mount Fuji Dawn) ... the moment I seen this wonderous cab I instantly thought of Mount Fuji.
What ever it ends up becoming known as ... it will always be a beauty!

that is one of the best cabs ever to come into the contest, Ed, you got a way with the stone. and the wood base is unique to you too.
picking the names is one of the hardest things to do, isn't it? but i do what Sands said he did, look at the cab, look at the name and just pick with your heart.

Yea KD, that's pretty much how I did it, but with 43 GOOD names, it's really hard to narrow it down to just 12. I tried to do 8 but that was impossible. Oh, and thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it, especially when it comes from one of the premier cabbers here.

Looks to me like it's going to be a runaway with the painted hills, pretty fitting too.

I thought that it was "Lois & Clark's Adventure" I'm a big Dean Cain fan - I'll vote for anything with him in there!
Awesome cab there Stoner! That will turn heads!

Hey, Stoner!!! I'm changing my name, too. Not the cab name, but MY name. ArkieRockhound is my name - and winning cabs is my game! ;D Just kidding, of course, Trish! (shucks) Seriously though, if Trish ends up winning it, I know it will be going to one who can really appreciate what all went into the making of it & who also has been most generous when it comes to freely giving away their works of art!

Thanks for the kind words, Pebbles. I sure hope it stays that way. I really want this one. It's beautiful. I'll fix up a special place to display it if I win. Trish

"Hippos in the Fog"! That's killing me... I was thinking landscape like most but I just love that someone came up with such a unique perspective. That's so great!

Yea Laura, I almost split a gut when I read that one too. Talk about looking outside the box! Here ya go KD, a little more on the base. It's a piece of maple I had in my garage that I figured someday I'd have a use for. I used my Dremel to widen the natural crack so the cab would stand upright. I think they go well together, a rustic piece of wood to go with a mountain scenery. with flash looking down
