he is speaking about his son. its an old riddle that my great grandfather always used to say when he introduced one of his sons to someone. the first part , brothers and sisters i have none, means nothing in the riddle. the man could have many brothers and sister but it would not change the fact that he is introducing that particular son. he says, this mans father, right there he cannot be referring to himself, but to one of his chldren. he could say, this womans father, and he would be referring to his daughter. you got my noodle working though, thanks. im doing my income tax today

Otherwise, the guy in the pic could be the speaker’s nephew, his brother’s kid.

Ooook! I googled it at deb193's request ( just now saw these posts that I missed) and I don't know what you found Daniel but, I did not find a conclusive answer there. And Rich, you are right about being an integral part to the riddle and would help realize the correct answer in that frame of thinking
