thats some tastey lepidolite. I cut up about 10 pounds the other day and none had the red in it. I have some almost grape jelly dark purple, pinkish with lots of sparkle, and some light purple with the white stars and black inclusions.

did I ever send you any lepidolite? I cut white howlite, cotton candy serpentine, birdeye serpentine, butter jade(a type of serpentine I think) I can send you some slabs of those with the lepidolite

Donnie; I don't know for sure what the heck that other one is. There is some granite like stuff, similar to llanoite that comes out of Brazil and that's a possibility but it would only be a guess.....Mel

If you got that from someone on the boArd who goes to Graves Mt, it looks like the blue quartz in quartzite
Just a thought. I posted some cabs in the cab section recently but they aren't as nice as the slab or others that have been posted

I have seen this coming from NC too . the blue looks to be opal quartz .
