I had a whole weekend off so set up my lap again and enjoyed myself this first one is what got me going the fire is from inside the opal, the reds don't show in the pics this one I have called chinese writing opal a nice bit of purple flash and lastly a nice lemon colored opal nearly forgot this one thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed. Outstanding! Everyone of them are perfect. Very good work on bringing out the fire, I like all of them!

Dang, Bill, they just get better all the time! I think you need to quit work and just do opals full time I know it would be much more satisfying....and look at the beauty you are bringing to the world! I think I'll go with the first one, but I'd be happy to have worked any of them!! Tony

I have a soft spot for opals and yours are lovely... I worked them with my dad 30 years ago and have just picked them up again a couple of months ago when I found a couple of jars of rough locally...
What size are the ones above? Purple is a favourite colour of mine! :-)

Thanks friends for the nice comments and lisatech the first 3 are about 1/2 inch long and the lemon is about an inch. Bill
