Randy, I see that you are building an army of soldiers in stone. I think that we all should start calling you the general. Stu

Ohhh, those are lovely! I understand why they're the bestsellers. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I've been using exactly the same kind of bellcaps (when I got my first little jewelry making kit as a gift) and I loved them, but now I've run out of them and the new ones I bought lose their golden color after some wear and are nowhere as steady and shapeable as these. Gotta import some..! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

This is an old thread ;D lol... phil, I use 330 epoxy. It's very strong and your fingers won't accidentally get stuck to the rock.

Hello Randy, I have some questions about your impressive "tumble pendant factory". They r very cool looking! You stated that you sell them with a 20 inch black cord, I assume this would be a necklace? Where do you get them? How tall are the pendants? Do you rotary tumble the preforms before putting them in the vibe? Thanks a bunch, Bill

I purchase black wax cord (2mm) by the spool and cut it into 20-22 inch lengths, then put it through the jump-ring and tie a square knot. You can also purchase leather chokers fairly cheap if you buy then in lots of 100 or more (Ebay). They ship from China so you'll have to wait a couple weeks for arrival. The shapes go straight from the saw to the vibe tumbler, no grinding or rotary tumbling is necessary. It's a very simple process once you've done it one time. Just be sure to pick out solid rocks (no fractures, vugs or soft spots) and hardness of all rocks must be the same or close. Hard rocks work the best.

Hey Randy thanks for the info here on the thread and for answering my pm so promptly! I have a bunch of saw scrap sorted out that I can cut pendants from, gonna start tomoro. Gonna order some cords right now. Ur wife likes greenhouses, I do to and if you pm ne ur address I will send yall some heritage Amish tomato seeds that I got when living in Pa. I save seed every year and these have a very good disease profile for a heritage tomato. They will be a odd purplish red color with some green at the stem area even when ripe. They are large and have few seeds and pulp and lots of meat, also sorta lumpy sometimes. They are a average producer, they bear right thru the heat of summer. Thanks, Bill

As long as you are selling stuff that pays bills and lets you hang at the house and is your pleasure you can not lose. Good for you.

Nope, not a dime of this has ever went toward paying bills. All money made from rocks get spent on more rocks, rock equipment, and other stuff. I like buying stuff, it's like Christmas all the time!

Duh, retarded cowboy here, got another question about the pendant factory Randy. How wide is the top of the pendant when you saw it? Thanks again, Bill

The slabs are about 3/16ths thick and the point is 3/16ths as well. Looking from the top it looks like a 3/16ths square.

Hey thanks Randy!!! I bid on the necklaces you showed me, will know tomoro if won. Gonna make a template tomoro and start marking and sawing up saw scrap for tumble pendants. Gotta order a extra loto barrel for the polish stage. Hope my freebie loto dont crap out on me, this is getting expensive with grit, polish, barrel, cords, and bell caps, it adds up. However lapidary is not as expensive as horses, use to have 45 Paints and they all eat while you sleep!!! Still got my old stallion, he has a home forever. Thanks again Randy!
