Greetings All,
I never pictured Boy George as being anywhere near a closet.

Greetings All, He may not have been near a closet folks but he did do a song called "I'll tumble for ya!". Guess what his "closet hobby" was! Let's just say that I wouldn't want him to have me over a barrel, even if I did get a girlfriend of mine to buy one of his albums for me because I was too cool to do so myself Hey, it was the 80's! All kidding aside...Boy George had a wonderful voice...smooth as silk. A great vocalist.

hmmm seems I was not the only fan? Well in my defense- it was the 80's- the tickets were free (ahh the perils of teenage drinking and getting caught) I was EXTREMLY ahhhemm Zoned out? and Believe it or not- I was able to fanagle myself to the front row (yea it was only because the girl we were with was topless- but hey I made it to the first row!!!!)

I propose sending a box of rocks to the first member who can post a photo of themselves with actual "Flock of Seagulls" hairstyle (must be from the 80s....grabbing the hair gel and the digital camera right now doesn't cut it)...Boy George beribboned dreads will also count.

My media players just don't play any Boy George songs....and most country songs either. I do have my limits...

Hey Herm - Didn't have the 'Herd of Birds' hair-do but I was unfortunate enough to go through an Urban Cowboy phase in high school so I have plenty of pics w/hat & boots.... lol. I guess it was the thing to do living in Houston...now Gilley's is in Dallas and Latino Tejano music is the norm in Houston...things certainly have changed in the last 25 years or so...

I have no idea what this herd of birds hairdo is but Dan, you live in Texas, I thought all Texans wore boots and hats? Used to be the only shoes I had were my boots and always had a hat.

'Herd o' Birds' = 'Flock of Seagulls' ;D Nah...most native Texans don't really go in for that kind of thing unless they actually work on a ranch or the rodeo circuit...lol... My wife is 5th generation native Houstonian...i've never seen any of her kin wear a cowboy hat! I'm a transplanted, naturalized Texan... haha

Cher...you can always tell at a glance the "drugstore cowboy" from the real cowboy. Drugstore cowboys just stand out like a sore thumb......Real cowboys would not be caught dead in that garb....
