Congratulations to Steve and Jo--both the cab and the wrap are amazing! (don't know how you got the edges so smooth on the cab; don't know how you got the wire to lay so nicely on the wrap).

Wow! Thanks everyone for being such great co-competitors! I'm humbled and amazed for my wire work to be among some real artistic talent. You are all winners!
I have to say that it was my partner Steve's concept. I contacted him when I saw he was my teammate and just suggested that we think out of the box. I told him that I've taken my time to develop my skills so that I can wrap just about anything. I sent him some pics of my out of the box work for him to get an idea and he came up with the awesome double heart idea while driving in the car to go help out a friend (good guy that he is). We traded a couple of sketches and after I had that incredible cab in my hand, I actually was a little flustered, but came up with the final plan in my sleep (I do that alot). The two color hearts, each with a rose gold accent, intertwined with three colors on the girdle (silver, gold and rose gold), and then the ribbon flourish.
It was a super difficult wrap, two wires breaking in the process, but had to press on because I was outta some of the wires. I got to wear it out to dinner with Billy on Valentine's Day and that felt really, really good.
Guys, the stakes were high and you are all champions just for meeting the challenge and being willing to stretch your abilities and work with another person to accomplish a difficult task. Thank you my co-competitors and to all RTH Members who cast their vote for our entry.
You all rock!

Jo and Steve when I first went thru all the wraps I was in awe with yours. It is really a piece of art. I was glad to have the opportunity to be part of this with you and all the people. Everyone did a fantastic job. John thanks for putting this together for us. I hope we can do it again. Liz

Congrats!!!! This was a heck of a contest, and everyone did such a great job!!! But the creativity really set you 2 apart, Jo and Steve!
Winning is always fun, but the size of ego growth is in direct relation to the caliber of your opponents. We're going to need a pin to pop the size of your heads now! hehehe.

Naawwww... been around the block a few times, Helen. Learned tons of life lessons and still learning. Already focused on the next challenge. I'm a peon compared to the vast artistic talent on here. Jo

Woo-Hoo! Congrats to Everyone that participated though. Your All WINNERS in my book. I did think of that little concept driving home one day. You could do this with lots of shapes. I also had a side by side heart.....but it would've been a bugger to cab. Jo put the magic touches on it though. She made my vision a reality...so HATS off to Jo! I guess now we get to pick and choose which cabs we want. Great Job to EVERYONE! I wouldn't mind participating in something like this again. It was alot of fun and I was so excited to see everyone else's cabs/wraps that it made it even funner. Thanks John for making this possible. Steve

Steve and I talked it over and we decided he gets the prizes and I get to keep our entry. So, if all the teams would please contact Steve Holmes for his address and make arrangements with him, that would be awesome. Thanks everybody!
Looking forward to the next one and wondering what the theme will be....

I want everyone to know what integrity Jo has! When she told me of the contest she did not tell me which was her's. I mulled over it for about a week... Her's and Steve's was my 1st choice, but I decided to go with simplicity well executed in #10. I'm honored to own cabs created by both Jo and Randy. Now seeing such a spectrum of talent really is inspiring. Thanks to all 20 artists who participated!
