Wow what a horse race this. I knew that it would be a lot of fun and a good opportunity to learn some new things but I never thought that I would be a contender. This is so exciting. Thanks again Don for having this contest, and thanks to all of you great members that have so generously helped me along with your kind words of encouragement, constructive critique and sharing of material. As far as I am concerned there are no losers here.

Concerning sending the winner slabs........Have we decided to have a contest every month? If so, we should have one volunteer per month to send the winner slabs. Otherwise we'll be shipping out slabs every month. Whadda ya think?

Traditionally, the contest runs twice a month, a new one every two weeks. I don't mind supplying a slab or two for each contest; I've got plenty on hand. But if members want to "sponsor" a contest and provide the prize for it, that would be great too! If you want to sponsor, I'll setup a list. No need to send anything to me, the sponsor can PM the winner and work out mailing arrangements. Krystee, you want to sponsor the march 1st -15th contest?
