and it feels GREAT! I have been broke down waiting til I could get a new 280 Nova Wheel on my Genie. Well...I got it and I'm LOVIN' it! I have had these on dop sticks just waiting to get cabbed. Many others in line and I have also received some nice slabs the past few weeks from generous RTH'ers that will be coming up. Here's just a couple from last night. Petrified Wood. (from a friend in Oregon) Crazy Lace. Top-Notch! Bandings, Parallax, and...YEAH! Two sets of Echostones. Laguna Agates of course... Looks like a Flamingo in the cab Very unusual set. The nodule was fractured during the forming process and re-healed. It shows lots of depth..and the colors are amazing! The cab itself is pretty special. It has an empty cavity where it looks like perhaps a gas bubble or some sort of crystal was pushing in on the center forming the pattern of the Agate. Tried to getting a pic of it...and in that attempt...grrr...scratches! i would love to hear others theories about this. Thanks for looking. Gotta get back to the Grind..the good KIND! Steve

It is good to hear your cabbing machine is up and going again. Very nice batch of cabs! I don't have any theories about the formation on your last nodule.

Beautiful cabs Steve, the crazy lace is top grade for sure! the edges always seem to be a problem spot on mine too. The cool thing about freeform cabs is we don't have to worry if we're gonna make them too small by correcting them.

All are top notch Steve! The pet wood is inspiring, the shape and pattern both.. I really dig it! Cool little inclusion in that last Laguna too, like you said maybe a phantom crystal?
Most excellent sir!!

I'm glad to see you grinding again.
As always, love the echo stones.
That odd inclusion looks like the ghost of Dan Ackroyd's conehead from SNL in the last photo...

Steve these cabs are great. I love the Crazy Lace. I had just worked a piece or killer Red C L and it came apart at the fortification lines in the banding. Next time I am just going to stabilize the whole slab befor I work on it Stu
