Hi Guys;
It is 107F here today. I cannot gather up the gumption to go outside and work on this box today. I hop ya'll will forgive me a day or two. Perhaps I can work on it tonight after dinner and mail it tomorrow.
Sorry and thank you.

OK got 'er done! Here are a few pix: as arrived as opened What I took: handful peridot, rutilated quartz, cube from Justin, and some agate pebbles. Are these Lakers?? What I put in: big hunk of actinolite (specimen or slab it. If you slab it, you should opticon it so the crystals stay there when cabbed), Turkish rainforest chrysoprase slabs, two localities of south Cady Jasp/agates, and a couple of hunks of New Mexico Candy stone. I am going to guess that the candy stone is a fluorescent mineral. It overexposed in the otherwise well exposed image. This box is on it's way to rockoonz. USPS LFRB label number is 9405 5036 9930 0099 1674 61

We opened it yesterday. We took these along with some gravel sized stuff that had broken off... And we put in this... There's a belt buckle made from sch40 stainless steel pipe and stainless welding wire, a couple slabs of Owyhee ID picture jasper, a slab of rainbow obsidian, a slab of unakite, and a basinite mounted spencer opal ready for a cap to become a triplet. There were a few broken slabs so we tried to repack to prevent any more breakage. It is really stuffed! If I can I will take it to the PO at lunch tomorrow, if not on Tuesday. Lee

Well I picked up the pkg at the post office yesterday afternoon. Cut her open for a quick peek this morning. I must say there is no way one can do a quick peek in a traveling rock box.LOL I will try to find the time to do a thorough look later today. This is going to be a real puzzle in putting this box back together so everything fits. I will take lotsa pictures. I got your PM with your addy Roy Til later Stu

Well that was one FULL box of rocks LOL wowwwww. The box is all packed up and will go to the post office in the morning on its way to Roy. Unfortunately there were some broken slabs in the box as was mentioned earlier. I tried to repack as best I could but there was a lot of stuff in that there box. I really only planned on taking a few slabs for a few slabs that I had. But there was no way I could fit anything in that box unless I removed some of the specimen pieces from the box. These are the slabs that I took, I took one of the broken ones: These are the specimens that I took out to make room. These are the slabs that I put in. Here is the package re-boxed and encapsulated in packing tape ready for the post office Stu
