Got the box yesterday!Hoooooly crap its full. I'm going to have a hard time fitting anything in!!! I have some tumbling material from my trip to Wisconsin set aside, and some goodies from Deadhorse. I'm heading up to Nenana tomorrow to bring a case of wood cutting oil to the barge for a friend that lives between Galena and Ruby. UPS charges $350 bucks to do the haul. It costs me $70 in gas AND I get to go rock hounding in Ferry. There are 100 pound bloodstone and chalcedony boulders in one of the creeks. Anyone have a really big slab saw? lol! So, that said, I'll get everything packed back up and out in the mail on Monday.

Worry less about fitting stuff in than getting some stuff OUT to stuff more in:P. As far away as you are Geoff, take the opportunity to fill holes in your collection:)!!!

Geoff, please feel free to take as much of the stuff I put in the box as you can, (or want). I took 2 slabs and put in 30-odd slabs and slabettes. Since you are so far away and all, and the next 2 people on the list are 'old timers' that will need some room in the box. Speaking for myself, no need to feel you have to replace things I put in with equal value, as I had you in mind when I loaded it up.

Got Roy's address last night. Slabed up some agate and jasper from Ferry yesterday. Going to cram it all in there and ship it off in a little bit.

Alright folks. I did a dumb and deleted the pictures of the box as it arrived. But, it came in great shape. I got it all packed up, about an acre of tape on it, and will be heading to the P.O in a few minutes. Have to put pants on first. Here's what I took: Here is what went in: This is agate, jasper, schist, fault breccia... If this stuff isn't acceptable Roy, let me know. I'll get another sfrb of stuff out. This is some chunks of the fault breccia that need slabbed. Susan, there is one in there for you. I splashed around the Jack river in Cantwell trying to find some Alaskan rhodonite. No luck Here it is. full to bursting:
