Add a batch of corn bread with butter and honey, and I'm there.

Took the Tillamook factory tour about 20 years ago. By far it's our favorite cheddar. If our local stores don't sell the red 2# sharp, we don't shop there! The Vintage White Cheddar is to die for.

Why are you people always talking about food? Once I week I read something here that makes me hungry and deprived! LOL!

My brother just caught a 20 lb and a 30 lb salmon. Not sure if he caught them on the Rogue (where he lives) or off the coast. He's got a t-shirt that says "ain't no nookie like Chinookie".

Helen, just be thankful we aren't talking about frying up a mess of rattlesnake. Is rattlesnake like eel? I don't like the way eel tastes, it's sort of sticky sweet and a bit eweeuu. I've heard rattlesnake is like chicken tho. Unless something is bugs or eyeballs, I'm usually game to try odd foods, including rattlesnake:). I was just joking anyway, I love reading about different foods, and fossilman always comes up with some good ones:).

You catch the fish and smoke them right on site? How cool is that?

Ah Helen, fried bugs ain't all that bad. Grasshoppers taste almost like almonds. I'll agree about eel. Used to catch the big Conger eels in Scotland. Tried eating it once. Too oily for my taste.
