Limit for a small FRB to Australia last year was 4 lbs. Can't remember what shipping was, but it wasn't cheap.

Looks like a small FRB is $12.95 and a medium FRB is $32.95 to Canada. Weight restrictions also apply.

I wonder if we could have two different boxes. One just like now, going around as is normal and one for larger chunks. Then it's take one or two leave one or two.
But nothing is small, all larger chunks?

Before starting a second box for larger rocks, It might be a good idea to pole the participants to find out how many have saws large enough to handle large rocks. For those with only a 10 or 12 inch saw, it would be unfair to burden them with a box of material they can't use, and the resulting cost to them of sending an extra box. I can handle anything that will fit a 16" saw, and have been known to push the limit a bit.

MY comment about "large" is relevant to what I saw in the current box traveling. My vision was of rocks that could be cut on a 10" saw (cuz that's what I have!). Maybe 6-8 could fit in a LFRB.
Everything in the traveling box was really just slabs. Larger rocks have more versatility in that they can be slabbed OR carved OR sphered...

Hi, Sheri! If there's still time to sign up, and if you need another member, please add me to the list for Round 5 (box of smaller materials  ). Unfortunately, the only materials we cut can't be over 2" thick because of the guard on our Workforce tile saw with a 7" blade (MK Hotdog) and the CabMate saw is best for trimming.

Interesting idea - I like it. Maybe we could mix the sizes for those of us with 7" and 10" saws.
