Mine were built by me, but if you want to give brand names as well, that's OK with me. There's only a couple of companies that I know of who manufacture these objects, and one brand is of such poor quality that it's a waste of money.
If nobody guesses by Monday evening, I'll end this round and start another with a new object to ID.

Could they be punching tools? Maybe the massive handles help in the punching force. Thin sheet, or some other material.

They are held in the hand. I will say this much. There is a reason for the long handles, and the bottoms of these objects are milled and ground perfectly flat.
