I just got my saw/arbor put together and would love to have a crack at one of the boxes. Are you wanting members interested to PM you or are you doing and auction type. I will be happy with any slab box right now as I'm just starting to cab and want to be gentle of the blade making rough cuts. Cheers

I will sell a medium FRB of the material above for $7.50 plus the shipping cost of $11.35 and $15.00 for a large FRB plus the shipping cost of $15.45. Please let me know if I have the shipping costs right. I can fill the boxes according to the buyers specifications without getting down to individual pieces. For example if someone wants some slices that look like brazilian included I will put some in the box.

I will take a medium frb full. If you have any dinobone left, anything with blue or green color. Anything red/pink. I'm not picky. If you can combine with the slabs I already have already bought in your auctions and send them as a large frb it would be great. Thanks so much Bill

Hi. I'm on a dial up, so can't see the pics, but I'll take a LFRB full of Red crazy lace, any red, blue, green or yellow dino bone, any banded agates, moss agates and you can top the box off with Brazilian looking stuff. (great idea!) or anything banded, spotted, polka dotted, circles, dots, squiggles or wavy lines. please. If you don't have enough to fill a LFRB, then I'll take a MFRB. Just let me know where to send $$ and how much. If you can, please try to avoid anything dark and dreary. I've got enough of that stuff already! <grin> Thanks! Phil

I'm done with the FRB material. I've sent a message to everyone who I was able to make a box. I have two or three more boxes worth of material. Any one who lives near Lafayette, Ca is welcome to come by and get it for free.

If I'm looking at the photos right, so far all you've sorted and sold are the slabs. Your original post also mentioned rough. So, what rough do you have? If I'm first to ask, am I first in line? hehehe. Thanks! Phil

If I'm first to ask, am I first in line? hehehe. Thanks! Phil I had 4 lots of small "rough" that all sold except the Tahoma which I'm glad didn't sell because I was able to clean up. There was a mixed lot, morrisonite heels and poppy japer. I have a bunch of rough including opalized wood with the largest piece at 7 pounds. Selling is a PITA and I was more interested in sharing than making money. I hope everyone is satisfied with what they got. I'm donating this rough and the left over slabs to the local rock club. They are picking it up on Thursday. I'd rather be cabbing than boxing rock. Do you see the light colored rock lower left. I gnawed off a piece and cut the cab below (second from right). Nice material, but how different would the other cabs be?

Satisfied??? I got my shipment of various slabs and rough today - marvelous items! Best thing: as a result of Steve's generosity, I can try some things on these pieces I'd be afraid of on something I paid big money for, and if it doesn't work out, I haven't cut up/ground down a small fortune.
Thanks very much Steve - PITA it may be, but this is a very nice way to share the hobby. I'll pay it forward when my chance(s) come along.
Best regards and thanks, Jack

I want to echo Tousled Owl Jack's post. I was leaving for a trip and Steve was so trusting and generous to deliver a FRB to the "new guy" The box was full of amazing slabs with various color media I have been seeking for some time. I look forward to working with all these slabs. Steve, you have great taste and it really shows in the quality of your slabs and your generosity.
Thanks again, Matt
