As much as I like the game, I'm going to try to move on beyond politics. I've grown tired of this silly game. No one here is going to convince someone who can't be convinced.
I have one more thing to say and I'm throgh. (It's going to be hard but I'm going to try ;D)
For me the answer is simple. We don't know what Romney is capable of doing if anything. It may already be to the point no one can do anything.
But we do know for a fact that Obama is over his head and has failed for four years to do ANYTHING but spend more money.
I'm voting against the failure and hoping for the best from Romney.
There it is. You guys duke it out. ;D

Heya Curt, I have had the same notion as you. But, overall I am more of a glutton for punishment I suppose. It is a great insight into social studies, to see the differing views, as it were ;D I am guessing that you will have a lot of 'moments of truth' in keeping true to your endeavor this next six weeks. . . I'm rootin' fer ya! Bill Meanwhile,

I've had it. Two guys at work today, both on the absolute opposite sides of the spectrum were nose to nose about to come to blows over friggin' politics. I mean 2 Americans, F words a flyin' and screaming at each other. Big WTF? Let's hope for REAL change this time.

Sounds good to me, let whoever wants to engage in long monologues cleverly disguised as debate. I think I'll stick to rock stuff too.

A big "AMEN" to that! How 'bout this one? This is one of three dugway geodes that were given to me by a friend that collected them earlier this year. The gypsum crystal in the middle is oustanding!! I don't think the cut orientation could have been any better if I had x-ray vision! Enjoy... Jean

that's a fantastic little dugway, Jean. Dugways are my favorite. I've got one that has a little crystal flower in it, five points radiating off of a single crystal stem. was nearly 1mm away from cutting it into oblivion when I cut the geode.

Thanks Mike, I do too. I think it's my favorite self-collected stone; I just can't bring myself to cab it.

Stu, I call it Cougar Jasper, but it goes my many names depending on who you talk to. Pipeline canyon jasper is another name for it that RTH might be more familiar with. It's really hard to find material this nice. This is the best example I've found in 6 years of looking.

Thanks, Don and Stu. I guess I should've posted the pic of the other half as well. I've already got photos of it, just have to resize and upload to Photobucket. I'll get to it this afternoon. While it didn't have the gypsum crystal, it was still real sparkly. And Don, I like that Cougar jasper too! Nice colors, never seen anything like that before. Jean
