He has put up another nine 20lbs packages again. So he must have lots more?

thanks to toad for posting the link here, looks like he sold 10-15 boxes just from RTH members.
I put a 6lb piece of this snowflake in the saw with high hopes of some nice big slabs but so far there are too many fractures throughout the whole piece to get any cabs. Oh well off to the tumbler which is fine by me. I'll post a couple pics later today of the slabbed rock.
Anyone else try cutting their's yet ?

I have some in the tumblers now too. Any pieces that don't produce quality slabs get hit with the hammer.

Toad - all 20lbs that I got was pretty heavily fractured. I really should have just busted it up for tumbling but I was really wanting a few nice slabs. Here's a link to my slab post that shows what it looked like slabbed. BTW - he just reposted another 10 boxes and that's the third time so he must have a TON. If I could get good slabs I would order more. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=sawingb&action=display&thread=55554Chuck

Got my snowflake in today, the bottom edge of the box let go and the mailman left me a walmart bag with some pieces in it.. left positive feedback for the seller but also sent him a note about the box.. I lost about 1 1/2 pounds of Ob between N.M & Fl., we'll see how he responds to the email and I'll post it here, but I love the pieces including 4-5 lg pieces and lots of smaller 'nodules' in the box too... still in the dirt from the ground, so I soaked some in water with soap to clean them before cutting/tumbling them.
*****Update*****
got into the box and found about 12 nice large chunks that should yield some nice slabs... found 2 that are banded and will probably break apart when I go to slab them.. they will go into the tumble bag too if it happens.. a lot of the smaller pieces have interesting shapes to them and I may have to try to cab a couple instead of tumbling them.

Just got 2 boxes of snowflake obsidian. Material looks great. Boxes were damaged and lost some rocks. I just ordered more.

My boxes were broke open too. I let him know about double boxing and using more tape. I even suggested seran wrap. He said I should file a damage claim with the post office. He said he would replace the material if I didn't get anywhere with the post office he would replace the 2 pound or so the boxes were short.
