A Bruneau trip sounds great to me too. I'ts closer than driving to Az. The Burro Creek bash a few years ago was awsome, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This winter isn't looking good for me to get away(I am so dissapointed). I also have never done any ocean beach collecting.

One of the highlights of my life(besides my first born and my 2nd marriage!!!!) was the first get together in 2007 at Woodward Ranch in Texas. And it wasn't even the rocks, it was the people who came from all over the country, people who I have known only on the internet(this board), people who shared their knowledge and came together and had a blast. The time I spent with those people will forever be etched upon my mind, so, HELL YES, let's do another trip!!!!!!!

Oh yeah...I would be up for a Bruneau hunt!!
I secured permission, from the Summer Rose claim owner earlier this year, to take groups up to the claim. Star Rose Quartz can be found on the claim. The claim is up in the Greenhorn Mountains near Lake Isabella, CA. The only requirement the owner gave me is that I secure liability waivers from each person in the group.

I am back from my Wiley Wells trip. As for the Summer Rose claim....a trip up there would have to be soon before the snow starts. Anyone interested just PM me.

I am thinking around May would be a good time, we should be able to get in there if it isn't muddy. The weather will be the biggest factor.

If you guys want to pick a date we can go ahead and get it started. I would think the weekends of May 18th (pentacostal holiday)or 25th (memorial day weekend). Do we want to go in on Friday and head out on Sunday? We could also do June but I have another trip planned in June so we would have to make sure they don't conflict with each other.

Let me know what you guys want to do and I will do my best to make it there. I may have to fly in to get there depending on how things go, but hopefully we, the family and I, will be able to make it there!!

I think either weekend would work Tony although I'd be more partial to the Memorial Day one.
