I've been here for quite a few years but can't say I'm as prolific as other posters, but I seem to have a narrow ratio of PM to posts: 850 posts vs 534 PMs.
Does anybody else have such a close relationship?
in other words - I've showed you my privates.....now it's your turn to show yours....

699 posts 275 pm just past my one year mark.
I know how much work is involved in taking good photos, uploading to photobucket, and making the post to this site so I try to leave comments here and there to make it worth it for the folks doing all the great work.

how do you tell the number of pm one has? its a stupid question in my case because I could count them all on my one hand :nono: one page full but what if you have more than five to one?  |

Ed, when you are logged in look at the top of the RTH home page, it should say "Hey, deeptime, you have ---- messages, 0 are new.

I have 489 but that is received messages. I went to outbox and it did not tell me how many messages I have sent. I would guess that I have about the same messages sent as received so that would put me at almost 1000 total messages.
This just happens to be my 2000th post which I find a bit ironic. so, figuring roughly in my head my total messages would be about 50% but my sent messages would be roughly 25%. Looking at the other people I would guess I am on the high side but not nearly as high as the highest.

I was unsure if my message count at the top of the page was both incoming and outgoing. I'm not curious enough to start counting, however.
Elementary, why did you ask this question? Do you have a theory about this? If I have more posts than PMs, does it say something about me as a person? Just curious what you're thinking.

Posts-2908..........PM's 53,I save names,addresses and types of rocks people have when they PM me....Saves time from looking them up in my address book.
(I've deleted 100's of PM's though)

I have maybe 100 pm's to date, but I don't save them.. I delete once a month except for a few people that I chat with about non forum stuff.
