Thanks Diane I know oyur having a great Thanksgiving Thanks Bill ! Thanks Bill too!
The Malbec wasn't the best choice for this fabulous Thanksgiving family feast we all just enjoyed Kind of a dark red where a light white would have been more appropriate. But hey-- it was Francis Ford Coppola how unfortuanate could it be? Geesh were all real thankful family and what we can put together.

Plus, my sister-in-law, an excellent hobbyist photographer, took lots of pictures of the rock hearts. . Hopefully she will e-mail me some of her efforts. We got some really neat perspectives.
Thanks everyone! Ed

Hiya, Ed! Thanks for the thanks. I thought that stone looked familiar, just love what you did with it. It truly is Thanksgiving colors! I still have a few more pieces of it. I'm thinking some kind of wood also, but don't know for sure. I could be wrong on this, but I believe I found the rough in the wilds of Arizona somewheres.
Haven't restarted the Scott-Murray yet, decided to go ahead and put some REAL bearings in it, before it quits tumbling and burns out the old motor. Haven't done any slabbing, cabbing or polishing lately, and haven't even been online for twelve whole days! Trying to catch up now. Spent ten days out in the desert (camping, not just wandering!), and brought home three large sacks of rocks. Will post a few photos I took out there. Jean

Ah its good to hear form ya Jean been missing ya and glad you saw the heart!
Wood you think? Not my first guess I still have healthy hunk of that slab.
You can see from the 'tilted tumbler' thread I'm having my own difficulties in that department.
Well ---we put lots effort in to these rollers so I hope it gets rolling easily soon
best
Ed
